Vacant Face
You stare vacantly out the window. Seeing things only you can. Silent and sad the same face stares back at you from the pale glass. You don’t see yourself even now as you sit inches away from the frost covered window. Tired restless eyes watch you as they pass by. They all look the same to you, those hundreds of faces that come and go. Who glance nervously at your unblinking eyes. Wondering what only you seem to see. Seasons will change, but the vacant face in the window remains the same. Your sweet but vacant face that stares as ghosts pass by.
